EXPLORATION OF LILY'S CHARACTER


 The exploration of the character of Lily - The Heroine of VIKRAAL SERIES in Ssshhhh koi hai is minimal which atlast kissed the dust when The Actress Shonali Malhotra was replaced by Deepika Sharma in 2003 July.

From the very beginning of VIKRAAL SERIES we observe that the assistant of Vikraal is a female who is cute,dumb, mumbling and beauty conscious. Who is in love with her boss and the destiny speaks that the boss is sure to fall in love with her in future.The chemistry current of MAMIK SHONALI was flowing rapidly and the Show was incomplete without Shonali 's acting.

Episodes like Lily ki Wapsi,Swami Antaryami, Dracula etc were hugely exploring the character display of Lily which was very steady and irreplaceable in Indian Television Series. But it met an utter failure when all on a sudden Deepika and Nupur came. But that's another issue. If Shonali would have got the chance to come out from her dumbness and meet the spirit of Vikraal,the character of Lily could have become unforgettable and unmatched in the history of Indian horror fantasy shows.

Then happened the introduction of TRIKAAL and the Character of Bijli which totally smashed and washed away the charm of Lily. Lily became TRIKAAL 's slave and Vikraal Lily love corner was damaged. Reshma Khan tried her best to portray the script she was given but unfortunately no good goal was reached. The Magical kaleidoscopic effect was lost from Ssshhhh koi hai.

I make a strong request to Star TV and the Production houses who created and marketed the concept ,to cast Shonali for LILY'S CHARACTER if you think to make a movie on VIKRAAL THEME ofcourse as opposite to MAMIK. And Kk Goswami should be constantly supporting them as he did previously.I am sure the Directors of the show have already realised the matter.
