 Vikraal aur Ateet ka saya

After the Adventure of Araka, Vikraal, Lily Gabroo return to the office.They are much tired .Gabroo suggests that they should have some relaxation, Lily agrees.

Vikraal-" to fir thik hai dosto, hum log do din ke liye ek trip par chalenge."

lily(excited)-"sach me, sir? aapne paheli baar mere sath kahi jaane ko socha hai."

Gabroo (jealous)-" aare ,mai bhi to jaane wala hu, sirf tum kiu?"

Lily makes a curl of her lips and looks at Gabroo.

Vikraal- "ha,yaar ,is baar hum chhutti le kar hi rahenge".

Lily -"which place?" "Sir, kaha par jayenge hum?"

Vikraal (very relaxed)- " lapata gaao".

lily-"sir, sach me aisa koi gaaon hai? kabhi naam nahi suna!"

Vikraal-"uhaape mere mama ji ka purana ghar hai."

Meanwhile Gabroo recieves a phone call.He is informed that his mother is ill and has been hospitalised.

Gabroo (anxious)-"aab mai kya karu Vikraal?mujhe to jana hi parega mummy ji ke paas"

lily-"best wishes for aunty Gabroo,tum unki khayal rakhna."(she looks relaxed).

Vikraal- "ok Gabroo, kya kare ?aagli baar hum tino chalenge".

Gabroo is disappointed,he departs.

Vikraal-"lily, tum thik se packing karlo,aaj shaam ko hi hum niklenge".

A light of hope in lily's eyes,she happily goes for packing.

It's evening now,packing is complete, Vikraal,Lily start out for "lapata gaao",they are on a bike ride.

(Now ,we shall go through a past incident---many years ago,on a stormy night, Vijaykaal's wife Shaantika gave birth to twin baby(2 beautiful boy child).On that night some mysterious dark energy prevailed. that "kaali shakti" snacthed away the 1st 

child. none could confront that power

because by its magic spell everyone became senseless in that village,after 2 minutes the younger child was born. It was a miracle- the 2nd child was born,because the dark energy had already captured the soul of Shaantika .Coming out of that magic spell,villagers saw that Vijaykaal had reached there,and he saw only one boy child born out of a woman in coma.

Vijaykaal was coming fast, to the village where Shaantika was kept during the delivery period.it was her maternal home.but he could not reach at

time.that evil energy did the job before his arrival.This village had a name"sundar". Vijaykaal was not there during the child-birth.He went to the city for some business purpose.but when he returned to Sundar village Shaantika was no more-her 

death remained a mystery,and the elder

child was missing.Vijaykaal nurtured his younger boychild and named him as"Vikraal".after this incident Vijaykaal resolved to be a ghost hunter(as we know from ROTI HUI TASVEER) ,leaving his business behind, like his father,and to 

make his son Vikraal another ghost-buster,to

find Shaantika'a murderer out and destroy the evil. At the age of 10 vikraal heard about the incident,he also resolved and went to

GURUKUL.Vikraal's grandfather Veerbhadrakaal was a reputed ghost hunter who worked hard throughout his life.His Guru was none other than MAHAGURU SWAMI ANTARYAMI(whose disciple is Guru Satyacharya).When Vijaykaal got married 

to shaantika,Swami Antaryami predicted to

Veerbhadrakaal that in coming years Shaantika is predestined to give birth to twin boys,one of them will be an extra-ordinary person to confront evils,the saver of good souls.but there will be a supernatural accident .Veerbhadrakaal never 

disclosed this prediction to anyone else till his death. he wanted to make Vijaykaal a ghost-hunter ,not a business holder by profession. But he was afraid of that prediction,-if that will be true

then his mission to ward off all the evils on Earth will be a failure,if the 3rd generation of Veerbhadrakaal's family will fail to appear on Earth).Under these circumstances,all the things happened--Vijaykaal left that village out of grief.

the elder child ,was thrown out in a jungle surrounding the village,snatched away by Mayakaal. By God's grace he was alive till morning,no wild animal or any evil spirit did any harm to him.At morning he was detected by a person ,who, by profession was a scientist,he took the child with

him ,named him as "Tarun".Tarun was brought up in that scientist's shelter.

Actually Mayakaal made a mistake here, the first child Tarun was born with a mysterious sign on his shoulder,so Mayakaal thought about him having some extraordinary power, and the 2nd child Vikraal was thought to be the ordinary one-that 

was a silly step by Mayakaal.

both the child looked alike but the 2nd one was predicted to be the saver of good souls,having tremendous will power and a heart of gold. but the 1st one also have some mysterious connection because of that symbol(that will work later) but he was a normal person, good human being.

so at last Veerbhadrakaal's dream was meant to be fulfilled. And after that accident the village name "Sundar" was lost, people started to call it "lapata gaao".after that incident Shaantika'a family also left that place.Vikraal's maternal house is now 

in a dilapidated condition.

Thus the story went on, Vikraal and Tarun met each other on the case of Jojo joker where Vikraal saved Tarun's family.Audience might have seen

that Vikraal is telling Gabroo (Lily was on a leave at that time) - "wo kya haina ,mai aur Tarun bachpan me kisi mele me kho gaye the,thora filmy hai leken sach hai".Actually it was a normal joke he made to Gabroo, to hide the original story from outsiders ,but the actual saga is here.Vikraal and Lily reach Lapata gaao at night,it is 12 o'clock.there is pin drop silence.they are going through a narrow lane ,there are bamboo jungles

bothside of the lane.Lily is wearing a red top, blue jeans, Vikraal is in a casual black shirt and jeans.

On that uneven land of village,their bike is

giving jerks while driving .lily tightly holds Vikraal's waist,asking him various questions.

Lily -leave " sir, is gaao ka naam "lapata" kiu hai?"

Vikraal- "pahele haame woha pouchhna hoga,then ,I will tell you".

Lily -only"sir hum paheli baar kahi ghumne ja rahe hai, aap khush to ho naa?"

Vikraal smiles only.

Lily-"sir is gaao me haame shelter kaha milega?"

Vikraal-"don't worry Lily,ihaape mai aapna mama ji ka ghar dhun lunga."

After few minutes....

now they get down from the bike, in front of a big old house. there is no electricity,only moonlight.

Vikraal-"yahape electricity nahi hai lily. aasmaan me sirf chaand ko dekho"

(here lily misses to see one thing that there is a light in Vikraal's eyes also)

Lily-"sir, mai torch aur candle laayi hu"

Vikraal (going a few steps forward)-" koi hai?hum bahat dur se yaha aaye hai,koi andar ho to bahar niklo, please".

Lily gets closer to him-"sir yahape andhera bahat zada hai,muhje bahat dar laag raha hai,she gets more closer to Vikraal,grabs his hand.Meanwhile, an old man comes out with a lantern, he holds the lantern up,sees Lily with Vikraal.

Old man-"tum log kaun ho,kaha se aaye ho,kya mai jaan sakta hu?"

Vikraal-"Suraj chacha,mujhe pahechana nahi,mai Vikraal hu".

Old man(Suraj chacha)-"aare Vikraal bete tum?kitna bara ho gaye ho,mai to pahechan bhi nahi paaya.aur tumne shaadi bhi kar lia hai,bahatachhi baat hai, bachcho ko saath me kiu nahi laaye?"

Lily just looks down with shyness ,holding Vikraal's hand tightly.

Vikraal-(hesitates a bit) "Suraj chacha ye hai mera assistant lily.Mai bhi pitaji ki tarah ek bhoot nashak bana hai".

Suarj chacha- (smiles, looking them together)- aare mai to mazak kar raha tha tum dono ke saath.Andar aajao, aram karlo.aab is gharme koi nahi raheta sirf mere ilaba".Suraj chacha heads them toward a big room.and he leaves for some arrangement of food.

Lily-"sir, aap mujhe wo purani kahani kab sunaaoge?

Vikraal-"aaj raat hum sirf araam karenge Lily.kaal tumhe sunaunga wo daastan".

Lily's little eyes are moving with curiosity that where they will stay,she lits up one candle.

the light directly reaches Vikraal's face.Lily looks him silently,as if she awaits him thousand years.

Vikraal- "poore gaao me sannata chhaya hua hai,mera saath maat chhoro Lily,mujhe nahi laagta ki ye jayga khatro se khaali hai."

Lily-"kya yahape bhi bhoot ka dar hai?par aapke hote hue mujhe koi dar nahi".she is relaxed.

Vikraal-"mai yaha last time aya tha jab mai 10 saal ka thaa,uske baad mai Gurukul join kar lia tha".(he feels nostalgic).

Lily is intensely looking at him.he discovers a new Vikraal.

Suddenly Suraj chacha enters the room with fruits and milk-"chalo, khana kha lo tum dono thak gaye honge."

Vikraal takes some milk and lily is having some fruits.

Suraj chacha leaves the room.

It's midnight- Vikraal and Lily fell asleep,they look much tired-there is no pillow, they are lying on the dusty floor.

Lily takes Vikraal 's left hand in her arms.

few minutes gone,a Greenish blue light flashes outside,in the balcony.That light indicates some spirit's presence there.

With that moving light a faint sound of groaning and grovelling is there,the voice is of a female one.

Vikraal suddenly wakes up,looks at lily ,she is in deep sleep.Vikraal goes outside,in the balcony following that sound.

The green light moving definitely indicates the dormant form of Mayakaal but the added bluishness in that light makes Vikraal anxious-

what is the mystery?is there any other spirit?

all on a sudden the female voice asks-"kaise ho beta Vikraal?"

Vikraal surprises. again the voice asks him.

Vikraal-"aap kaun ho? mujhe kaise jaante ho?"

The voice-"Mai hu, shaantika, tumhara maa."

"meri duya hamesha tumhara saath nivaaega.Lily ko samhalke rakhna, wo bahat bholi hai,beta bahat bholi."

vikraal- "Mataji ,aap? Pitaji ki tarha aap ki atma ko bhi mukti nahi mili?"

Shaantika-"nahi beta,mai aaj bhi mayakaal ke kayed me hu,jaise ki payal hai.Mayakaal mar kar bhi nahi mara".

Vikraal- "Pitaji bhi adhuri duniya me kayed hai,mai kaise shaanti se rahe sakta hu,maa?"

there is tears in Vikraal's eyes.

Suddenly the voice starts groaning again.And then a loud male voice- "Vikraal!"kyasa laga mera badla?Shaantika ki atma hamesha mere kayed me rahenge,jab tak mai tumhe nahi maar sakta, Shaantika ko bhi mukti nahi milega? ha ha ha ha-"SAB MAYA HAI"..... the light disapears.

Lily wakes up in the room,-"Vikraal sir" !!"aap kaha ho?"

She looks here and there and runs to him,in the balcony-"sir, aap ke saath koi anhonee to nahi hua naa?"

Now Vikraal narrates the whole story to her-what he heard just now and obviously his miraculous birth history,he told her about Tarun,too.

Lily's eyes are moistened.

Vikraal-"Islie lily aaj bhi mai darta hu ,dur bhagta hu pyar ,shaadi aur zindegi se,is peshe me ho kar ye sab khatro ka khel hai.

Lily blankly looks at him.Vikraal wipes her eyes with his fingers-"ro maat lily, yehi hai hamari sachchai."

Thus the night is over,it is 4. 30 now , Sun is about to come.

Vikraal and Lily looks for Suraj chacha,he is not there.they come out of the house.

they meet a villager passing by-"aare, kya aap log shahar se ho?"

Lily-"ji ha,kiu?"

the villager-"jaldi yaha se laut jaao",yahape koi nahi raheta!!"

Lily-"leken hum to kaal mile the Suraj chacha se!"

Villager-"Suraj,wo to bis saal pahele mar chuka hai."

Lily (astonished)-"leken unone hamara dekhbhaal kia."

Villager-ha, kabhi kabhi wo dikhai deta hai,sahi."

Lily (scared)-"kya?"

Villager-"Wo kisiko loksaan nahi pouchate, sirf bhatakta hai is ghar ke aas paas".

Vikraal's face looks redish. there is a mixed expression of anger and grief-

"phir bhi yahape kaali shakti kabhi kabhi aapna bali mangta hai,jaise ki Vikraal ke janam ke wakt haadsa hua tha!"

Villager-"mai nahi janta ki tum log ho kaun ho! beta,mera dil kaheta hai tum log yaha aur maat ruko, 

chale jaao yaha se".

Vikraal-(to the villager)"buraayi wo kaa talwar ,masoomo ka dhal, mujhe nahi pahechana, mai hu Vikraal"."baba aap daro maat,abhi haam yaha se nikal jayenge,leken bahat jald wapas ayenge. ek bahat bara hisaab jo chukana hai." "Lily, lets get

back to work."

They are again on a bike ride,on their way to office,.......
