VIKRAAL AUR QUEST FOR ASSISTANT (FANFICTION)

 

HERE IS A SIMPLE STORY OF VIKRAAL AND LILY FIRST TIME MEETING EACH OTHER-

"KOI TARSA NA THAA,KOI TARPA NA THAA,

WO MIILE IS TARHA DIL BHI DHARKA NA THAA...."

VIkraal aur Quest for Assistant.

Many years have gone,Lily continues assisting Vikraal.But have you ever thought how she met Vikraal and became his assistant ?

here is the story-

After Payal's death at the hand of Gulaag,Drohkaal became Vikraal's enemy,he left Vikraal's company and accused him for being the killer of Payal.Vikraal took a lesson from it.He resolved never to be in a relation after the incident of Drohkaal and Payal.thus many years passed.

(as we know from the episode SANGHARSH).

Vikraal was working alone for years. now he felt the need of an aide who will work with full loyalty,be smart and clever,energitic and speedy,ready to face any situation.so, he publishes an Ad on newspaper.

Mumbai,Mithibai College Campus,- Students are rushing,jostling with each other- here First year student Lalita and Vishakha both are discussing about a News paper Advertisement-there is URGENT REQUIREMENT-famous ghost hunter Vikraal is in search of an aide.

Vishakha-"aare Lalita! ye dekh paper me kya chhapa hai. famous ghost hunter Vikraal needs an assistant..wow... how handsome he is,chal na yaar is bahane usse milkar aate hai!"

Lalita-"ghost hunter Vikraal! in ke adventure ke bareme bahat suna hai.leken ,Vishakha haam unse kis bahane milne jayenge?"

Vishakha-"Lalita, tu kabhi nahi badlegi, aare hum bhi assistant selection test me shamil ho jayenge.....chal aaj hi CV submit kar dete hai!"

Lalita- "par haamare paas koi experience to hai nahi?"

Vishakha-"chhor na yaar, kamse kam vikraal se milneka mauka to mil jayega!"

Lalita and Vishakha post their CV to p.o box no.9211.

(Lily's original name was Lalita as we know from the episode "Mangla's Mistake". How she became Lily will be disclosed later in this story)

A few days later-

Exam hall(adjacent to Vikraal's office).

The written exam is going on.there are 50 candidates.25 boys and 25 girls.

Vikraal acts here as the examiner and recruiter both.

Among 25 girls there sits Lalita at the last desk and her friend Vishakha.They got the chance very late,because Vikraal selected them as fresher only.They had no prior experience of assisting a ghost hunter.

After the 1 hour exam was over, 25 candidates were short listed for the interview by Vikraal-

On the very Day of interview-

Vikraal called Lalita and Vishakha ,last, when all the candidates' interview was over.They were waiting for the result.

Vikraal- "Come here,Lalita and Vishakha,be seated."

Lalita and her friend looked much afraid before Vikraal's personalilty.

Vikraal-"so, Are you serious about this job?"

Vishakha remains silent.

Lalita-"Yes sir,I want to do this job."

Vikraal -(looking at her answer paper)-"kya aapko pata hai bhoot nashak banneka pahela niyam kya hai?"

Vishakha is silent.

Lalita-(flashing her innocent smile)-"yes sir, it's being handsome and smart. Am I right sir?"

All candidates start to laugh,looking at each other.

(the right answer is ,jo hota hai wo dikhta nahi hai,jo dikhta hai wo hota nahi hai).

Vikraal-"next question- do you have any ambition ?"

Lalita-"yes sir ,agar mauka mile to mai ek super model banna chahungi!"

Vikraal-"to fir mujhe assist karna kiu chahte hai?"

Lalita-"taki zindegi me kuchh sikhneka mauka mil jaaye,islie sir,apki ladai ki kahani na bahat suni hai maine.really sir you are awesome,mai to aap ka....

Vikraal- (annoyed),bas bas,stop it now".

Lalita stops.

Vikraal-"agla sawal,do you have any supernatural experience?"

Vishakha-"no sir".

Lalita-"sir,maine na swapno me bahat baar bhooto ko dekh chuki hu ,yehi hai meri experience."

A roar of laughter in the hall.

Vikraal- (after the noise is over)-"chudeil ki pyer ulta kiyu hota hai?"

Vishakha again silent.

Lalita-"kiu ki sir,mujhe lagta hai,chudeil apni saya ki taraf jana chahti hai,taki dhup me uski complexion kharap na ho jaaye.agar mari pyer ulta hoti to... Vikraal- stops her again. again a roar of laughter in the hall.

Vikraal-"ok,next question-kisi case me jaane se pahele kit me kya kya rakhna chahiye?"

Lalita-(very promptly,she has taken the furore as appreciation)-comb mirror,perfume and lipstick sir. "

again laughter.this time Vishakha also starts laughing with them.

Vikraal- (looks serious)-"how will you dress yourself as an assistant?"

Lalita (she feels that she got the job)-"mini skirt thik rahega sir,mere khayal se jeans pahenna garmi me bahat tough hota hai".

Again a furore,specially girls start laughing .

Anyhow Vikraal stops them,he is very serious.

Thus Vikraal comes to last question-"will you be able to convince your parents ,to join this risky job?"

Lalita-"yes sir,ye to karna hi parega!!"

Vikraal- -"what is your expected salary?"

Lalita (impressed by Vikraal)-"sir mujhe paise nahi chahiye,bas aapke saath kaam karneka mauka de dijiye."

Again laughter, all starts joking about Lalita.

One of the candidate-"iss budhu ko to abhi bhi school me hona chahiye tha,ye yaha kaise aageyi.?"

Others also whispering about this topic.

Vikraal-"guys, will you stop now?"

I am going to declare the names who has been selected for the practical field work.

Vikraal- declares five names including Lalita for practical test,i.e final round of selection.

Now the eliminated candidates are protesting on Lalita's selection.

"sir ,ye jayez nahi hai,lalita ne to sare sawal ka ulta sidha jawab diya hai,..."

"iss ki to akal naam ki koi cheez hai hi nahi....."

"pata nahi written test me kya likhhi hogi!...."

"Vikraal sir,you are very partial....."

"Ms. Lalita aapka koi rishtedaar hai kya?"

"wo practical field me jane ki kaabil nahi hai....."

Vishakha-"Vikraal sir, haam to yaha bas aapse milne aaye the, aur aap Lalita ko itna seriously kiyu le rahe hai?"

Lalita looks at them,she is dumbfounded by their behaviour,especially her college friend Vishakha.she was also eliminated.

Now Vikraal stops everyone, -"guys,aap janna chahte hai ki galat jawab dete huye bhi Lalita ki selection kaise hua?to fir ye jaan lijiye ki honesty pays and I believe it.Lalita ne jo bhi reply Kiya hai innocently Kiya hai, islie mai unhe ek aur chance dena chahunga-wo hamare saath field work me chalegi and that's final.

Now all are hushed up,they leave the office hall.

Vikraal ke paas ek chithhi aayi hai-shahar ke karib ek kabarsthan me ek sar kata dhar ghum raha hai puri raat ,koi bhi uhaa jaane se darta hai.

Vikraal thinks this short case will be ideal for assistant selection field work.He calls up the 5 selected candidates and asks them to come to the graveyard. Vikraal arrives there . Lalita was not there,she comes after Vikraal's arrival,much scared to enter the cemetery,suddenly she grabs Vikraal's hand, Other 4 candidates are looking at them, they look like hero heroine standing together.

Vikraal-"Ms.Lalita agar aap itna darenge to kaam kaise karenge?"

Lalita(scared)-"sorry sir",leaving Vikraal's hand quickly,actually aise jayga pe mai paheli baar aa rahi hu isliye bahat dar laag raha hai."

Now Vikraal enters the place with 5 of them, once the case is sloved ,the best worker will take the place of Vikraal's assistant.

The graveyard looks very old and creepy.

Vikraal distributes the project to 4 candidates,one have to keep an eye where the ghost appears,2nd one have to carry the kit, 3rd one will recieve the phone calls(if any) and the 4 th person will watch the whole story and keep a record of it (by video and written notes). But Lalita seems to be unable to do anything because she was much scared and followed Vikraal like his shadow.

At the night 12 o' clock,the headless body appears and starts roaming about-Vikraal notices the sight-"chalo, tum log apna kaam shuru karo",Sahil(the first one) after seeing the ghost gets faint immediately,2nd Ronita who was carrying Vikraal's kit starts crying loudly,3rd Samir is trembling with fear,the phone falls on the ground suddenly from his hand,4th one Reema runs out of the cemetery leaving her work behind.

Meanwhile the"sar kata dhar" starts moving forward towards Vikraal,he points the arrow towards the body and captures it in the bottle.Lalita is much impressed by Vikraal's activity.Now Vikraal and Lailta sprinkles water on Sahil,Ronita,Samir and Reema's face,they come into sense after few minutes.

Vikraal dismisses them and declares Lalita as his assistant,finally. Actually despite of doing well in the exam and interview they lost nerve,when the situation demanded.But Lalita,being timid by nature kept depending on Vikraal,all the time-she felt Vikraal's pulse,his rigidity,flexibility,honesty ,his temperament .By heart, on that very day she became his PA, Vikraal was touched by her innocence.

Thus they started their journey together ,Lalita's short name Lily was given by Vikraal himself ,to address her easily.Lily readily agreed to do the job,she denied to be in her family business(Diamond),she was fond of adventure specially supernatural ,but a fact remained hidden to her that in childhood Vikraal's favourite flower was"LILY"(symbolising innocence and devotion).
